Nepal playing against Iran in AFC U-19 Championship qualifiers today

8 Nov, Katmandu. Nepal is facing hosts Iran in its second match under AFC U-19 Championship qualifiers today.  The match is scheduled to take place at PAS Tehran Stadium at 8pm -Nepali time.

In its first match, Nepal thrashed United Arab Emirates -UAE_ 4-0, while Iran defeated Kyrgyzstan 3-0 in its first match.  UAE and Kyrgyzstan are competing today itself. Nepal will play against Kyrgyzstan in its final match on November 10.

Nepal is placed in Group ‘D’ alongside UAE, Kyrgyzstan and Iran. Iran has topped the score board with three points, and UAE is ranked second with three points.  Likewise, Nepal and Kyrgyzstan have secured third and fourth position respectively with zero point.-RSS
